Alissa James is a graduate of the MAT program and of the BFA program where she studied photography. Alissa has been an educator in Maine for over 15 years. As an educator, she has worked with a wide gamut of students, ranging from early childhood methods rooted in Reggio Emilia and Waldorf, through public high school where she specializes in teaching media arts and darkroom photography. Alissa is a practicing artist as well. She works as a photographer focusing on the narrative between the personal and external.
