Charlotte Caron is an artist and educator centering place-based and choice-based making and learning in their own practice as well as in their classroom. Charlotte graduated with a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2019 and completed the MAT program at Maine College of Art and Design in 2023. This fall marks Charlotte’s fourth year teaching high school art at Westbrook High School where they primarily teach sculpture and ceramics. Charlotte received the MAEA New to the Profession Maine Art Educator of the Year award in 2026 and continues to find ways to amplify student voice and creative expression with each of their students.
