Mary Anne Lloyd is a Portland, Maine-based illustrator recognized for her distinctive, whimsical artwork featured on various local packaging, signage, and vehicles for local Maine businesses such as Wyman's Blueberries, Fish & Bone, and Rosemont Market & Bakery.
Mary Anne’s early art career was forged in design studios in Boston. Her love of design, alongside her love of drawing and anything created by hand, eventually morphed into illustration. For over twenty-five years, she has maintained a career as an illustrator with an impressive national client list, including The New York Times, Hasbro Toys, Nickelodeon, and Golden Books. Interested in both illustration and graphic design, she found a way to integrate graphic design principles, communication skills, hand-lettered typography, and illustration concepts within her work.
Notable exhibitions and residencies include the 356 Art Gallery/Farnsworth Art Museum Animalia Exhibit in Summer 2025 and the Hewnoaks Artist Residency.
